I have been an Assistant Director of Career Development, Private Sector, at UCI Law since December 2016. I provide career counseling to law students, including development and critique of application materials, tips on interviewing, general and/or specific career advice, and recommendations of appropriate resources and contacts to achieve career objectives. I also prepare and deliver student programming relating to application materials, private sector hiring (including EIW), and interviewing. In addition, I develop and maintain relationships and lines of communication with local, national and international law firms, corporations, and other law schools, and use those relationships to facilitate our student placement.

Prior to UCI Law, I practiced corporate law for 10 years (at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Newport Beach, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in New York, and Chadbourne & Parke LLP in New York). As a corporate attorney, I represented clients in corporate securities transactions and mergers and acquisitions; and on an ongoing basis, I provided advice on corporate law and securities law issues, including corporate governance matters.
